PuppyGarten
Puppy 1
Our PuppyGarten 1 is the pre-school for puppies. PuppyGarten 1 is specifically designed to provide your 8-14 week old puppy the enrichment and socialization he/she requires with other puppies. Enrichment means exposure to novel objects, noises, textures, sounds, etc. in combination with healthy play and introduction to learn basic behaviors.
PuppyGarten 1 prepares you and your puppy for the real world. Our focus is helping the puppy develop his/her brain to explore the new world with various activities such as playing in a ball pit, running through a tunnel, balancing on a wobble board and so much more. We will discuss the challenging puppy behaviors such as mouthing, jumping up, potty training and body handling. We use the least invasive and force-free training methods available to us to help create a safe environment for your puppy and to make training a lot of fun.
Behaviors we cover:
-
manners: not jumping up, calming down, drop & leave it
-
specialty behaviors (veterinary handling, grooming, medical equipment, obstacles, house and crate training)
-
social skills (during play)
-
other typical puppy behaviors
-
for our shy dogs, growing confidence in a new environment
